Window Love
Window Love
Through the large window in my office, I could see the building on
the other side of the road. On the fifth floor of the building, there
was a window that I often stared at and watched. Why did this window
attract my attention? Well, I guessed it must be its curtain. The
curtain of this window was quite special. Unlike the other curtains i
met which had bright colors, it was black. On the black curtain, there
were plenty of white flowers which made the curtain looked terrific.
Which kind of people lived behind such a curtain. Didn’t he or she feel
uncomfortable? Or the owner of the window wanted something special and
unique. Whatever the reason was, it was weird. And i had no eyes for
such a curtain. In the daytime, the window was not covered by its
curtain so i could see clearly everything in the room. The room was
quite empty. Not much furniture were in this room. And only the big
easel made the room looked a little lively. Sometimes i saw a boy
drawing before the easel. He was a tall and thin boy with long hair. Her
face looked very serious which made him look like an old man. This
serious boy seemed to be popular among girls. About half a month, he
brought a different girl to this room. He showed them around his room
which must have some of its paintings. These girls adore him a lot and
listened to him with surprised eyes and sweet smile. The yong boy must
be a good kisser. For many times, he kissed girls before the window.
Their kiss was like a show acting before people. For about a whole
month, there was only one girl appeared in this room. She was different
from the other girls who came to the boy’s room. She was not as sexy as
the other girls but she looked innocent and I could see how graceful her
gesture and action were. She and the boy seemed quite intimate. She
might be the boy’s true love, I told myself. Several days later, I saw a
sad scene of the room. The girl was crying. She took a scissor in her
hand and cut a bridal gown. She cut the bridal gown crazily. The boy was
smoking before her easel and ignored the girl’s words. Suddenly, he
grabed the bridal gown and threw it on the floor. The two people broke
into a quarrel. I could see their mouths moved actively and guessed that
their quarrel must be very fierce. With a loud sound, the girl slapped
the boy in his face and left the room. Only the boy was left in the
room, smoking. This reminded me of the sheared bridal gown underneath my
wardrobe. Well, that’s another story.
